Your Care at Morgan Place:

At Morgan Place a skilled Interdisciplinary Team strives to provide individualized resident centered care. We encourage input and participation by resident and family to develop your unique Care Plan. The Plan will address your physical, emotional, and spiritual needs and the actions to be taken to accomplish the goals that are set.

The members of the Interdisciplinary Team include the Director of Care, Unit Care Supervisor, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Care Aides, Recreation Director, Recreation Aides, Physiotherapist, Rehabilitation Aide, Social Worker, Pastor, and Dietitian. Other associated team members include the Cooks, Dietary Aides, Housekeepers and Laundry workers.

You may remain under the care of your own family physician if he has a practice in the area. The Director of Care can assist you if you do not have a personal physician.

The Medical Coordinator participates in Resident Care Conferences, Medication Reviews, Medical Standards Reviews, and Resident Consultations.

Other Care Services you may access in-house at Morgan Place include:

• Gentle Care Foot Care Nurses – come every six weeks
• An Annual Eye Exam performed by a local Optometrist.
• Dental Services.

All care and services are provided by professionals that maintain all the required certifications and licensing standards.
